Seventy five folks attended my "Tibetan Pilgrimage" slide show and talk in Lander at the historic Noble Hotel. The evening was a benefit for the Jim Ratz Memorial scholarship fund which sends two Fremont County high schoolers up the Grand Teton with Jackson Hole Mountain Guides-a very worth while venture! I was honored to have the opportunity to offer to the effort, and it was heartening to see so many of my old climbing buddies, namely Judd Roger, Steve Bechtel and Mike Lilygren, in addition to many friends from Lander.
