Tibet Society hosted a talk and book launch by author and undercover reporter Matteo Pistono at the Free Word Centre in London on September 9, 2011. Tibet Society wrote about the event, "The audience were treated to a riveting talk with insights into Matteo's journey across Tibet, including in-depth descriptions of traditional life on the plateau, fascinating accounts of religious customs and the stark reality of China's occupation, all accompanied by spectacular photographs. Matteo followed his talk by answering questions from the audience which could have gone long into the night! Tibet Society would like to thank Matteo, Hay House Publishers and the Free Word Centre for their contributions to a great evening."
